Hidden in the hills and hand-farmed by the owner
Nestled away in a cluster of verdant knolls, Falcon Glen Vineyard is planted in Willakenzie soil at 435 – 570 feet of elevation in the McMinnville AVA. Steep slopes in all directions, dense forest between vineyards blocks, and afternoon breezes create a living environment where the idea of terroir—the fullness of place—truly shines. Ruffed grouse lurk in the brush and black-tailed deer graze beyond the fence.
Originally planted as a post-career avocation, this site receives attentive handwork – from planting to farming to harvest. Owner Glenn Howard works with his full-time vineyard manager, Maritza Soto, throughout the year on his family property, where he lives with his wife and two sons. We source two clones of Pinot Noir from this site: Dijon 667 and Pommard.
